Microbiology

We treate infections from microscopic organisms -viruses, bacteria, algae, fungi, slime molds, and protozoa. The methods used to study and manipulate these minute and mostly unicellular organisms differ from those used in most other biological investigations

Coagulation

Coagulation involves the formation of a blood clot, which prevents further blood loss from a wound. Coagulation is the process of changing from a liquid to a gel or solid, for example, the process that results in the formation of a blood clot.

Hematology

 We specialize in diseases of the blood and blood components. These include blood and bone marrow cells.

Serology

We do a laboratory test that checks for the presence of antibodies or other substances in a blood sample. Antibodies are proteins made by the body’s immune system in response to a foreign substance or microorganism, such as a virus

Urinalysis

 We do a urinalysis test of your urine to detect  a wide range of disorders, such as urinary tract infections, kidney disease and diabetes. This involves checking the appearance, concentration and content of urine. Urinary tract infection can make urine look cloudy instead of clear. Increased levels of protein in urine can be a sign of kidney disease.
